POSITION TITLE:   Payroll Acountant

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
The employee in this position handles all duties related to payroll including but not limited to preparing, processing and distributing paychecks. This position is responsible for  checking the number of hours employees worked, calculating wages and salaries, issuing employee’s wages by cheque or electronic transfer. Collaborating with human resources department to maintain employee data. Issuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees with them. Resolving employee issues with paychecks. The payroll accountant will be a part of the onboarding process monthly for all new employees b reviewing the agency payroll process.
